1. Agreement to terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Cove (“Cove”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account, installing the widget, or otherwise using the Cove platform and this website (together, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The service
Cove provides customer-support software including a website widget, knowledge base, shared inbox, contacts, roadmap, releases, and — where made available — an AI agent. We may add, change, or remove features over time. Some features are described as “coming soon” and are not guaranteed to ship on any particular schedule.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for the information you provide, for activity under your account, and for keeping your credentials secure. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, and able to form a binding contract. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use of your account.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service to violate any law or the rights of others;
- upload malicious code or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the Service;
- resell or sublicense the Service except as expressly permitted;
- use the Service to send unsolicited or abusive messages.
5. Subscriptions & billing
Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing with reasonable notice; changes take effect on your next billing cycle. Prices and plan limits shown on this website are indicative and may change before general availability.
6. Customer content
You retain ownership of the content and data you submit to the Service (“Customer Content”). You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display Customer Content solely to provide and improve the Service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to submit it.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Cove and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service; they do not transfer any ownership to you.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if necessary to protect the Service or other users. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; provisions that by their nature should survive will survive.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cove will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or data. Our total liability arising out of these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
